Guess Keith Hornsby wasn't. I do agree with you though but we kinda did last year for half the season

Yep, we already had Hornsby, but not a coach that is remotely as good as Wright.

Does John Brady currently live in BR?

Edit: this has nothing to do with John Brady coming back to LSU. He's just been doing a segment on Culotta and the Prince for a few weeks and sounds like he's always in studio.

if LSU wins the 2010 NCAAT next year, then I'd be elated by my new (or is it?) ability to time travel and change history.

To get one of these...

...and one of these...

...LSU needs to replace the PMAC with something like this...

Renovating the PMAC is no longer an option. It's hopelessly outdated. Cramped seating, no suites, no court-side premium seating, too narrow concourses, not enough restrooms or concessions.

Despite all that, it's a middle of the pack SEC basketball arena. Which tells you about the state of basketball in this conference.

LSU isn't Duke. We can't get by with an outdated arena like Cameron Indoor. We need to show the world, particularly the coaching fraternity, and especially potential recruits, that LSU is serious about winning at basketball.

Like it or not, the Ben Simmons fiasco...and I do not use the term lightly...has damaged LSU's reputation in the eyes of the basketball world.

LSU is being used as a cautionary tale about what happens when a five star recruit chooses to play for a non-traditional power.

We need to make a statement. A bold statement. A new arena would make that statement.

Money isn't everything, Villanova plays in a 6500 seat on campus arena that was built in 1986.

This is such a myth and needs to stop being reported on this site and especially by the national media because it is lazy journalism. Ben Simmons came in as the number 1 or 2 pick and put up great stats and him and his team didn't win and make the tourney but yet he is still the number 1 or 2 pick. These one and dones want to go pro and Ben Simmons actually proved going be the only guy on a bad team will not hurt your draft stock at all.

Meanwhile Skai Labissaire goes to Kentucky as the number 1 or 2 pick and struggles early and Kentucky can afford to use other people and his draft stock drops. If he comes to LSU and is the only guy his stats would be tremendous because LSU doesn't have an option other than him and his draft stock stays the same.

Do you think so? I haven't been to all of the SEC venues, but imho only Memorial (Vandy), Stegeman (UGA) and Coleman (Bama) are in the conversation for worse arenas.

8 of them (Ky, Tenn, Fla, OM, Mizzou, Arky, Aub, SC) are without question clearly superior to what we have. It's not even arguable.
