A friend of mine who works with the team said that Charles Scott, during halftime of the Alabama game in a nice and humble way basically said that he would carry the team, put it on his shoulders and he'd get it done.

I get the feeling that he's aggrevated they don't use him more in clutch situations. In third and short last year we knew one thing: that Hester was going to bulldoze and will himself all 3 yards. Why don't we do the same/have the same faith in Chuck Scott this year? especially with the current qb situation?

Also, on a side note: apparently Miles never yells at Lee or gets in his face. Its always just a pat on the back and a "you'll get 'em next time."

is this what he needs or should he be ripped into? After 6 INT's for td's im thinking its time for some tough love.

Charles is an incredible athlete and I wanted to see him along with Keiland just smash it down the gumps throats.

You don't want to throw your only able bodied QB under the bus. Why do we question Miles now that we aren't winning a national championship? Nobody questioned Miles when he kicked Perriloux off the team or when he went for 4th down in the Florida game. Get off the guys back and let him coach. As for Scott, he is a beast and we are lucky to have him this year.

wasn't it scott who came up short against kentucky last year on a 4th and short? He is doing really great this year though.

and yeah, tough love, but you can't belittle the guy and crush whatever confidence he still has left. He'll just second guess himself and screw up more.

I do agree that Charles Scott needs to be more of a factor. But in many situations against Alabama, mainly the second half, the defense was stacking 8 in the box and making Scott uneffective...

When you can't pass the ball, you can't run the ball... The run will work early, but until Lee becomes a vertical threat, it will be very difficult to run the ball...

I don't understand what's so hard to comprehend about Alabama stacking 8-9 in the box to stop any type of running play.

Do you guys just not want to believe that, or what?

sounds like a standup guy. makes me proud, and hoping he's a Tiger next year, for sure.

Sure, 'cause Jarrett Lee was already shaking like a crack ho without a fix all game Sat. I think it's time for Les to really give the kid a jolt!!!

And he could have. Bama had no answer to LSU's Power "I" formation. Esp in the OT, LSU had Bama wore down and should have run Scott right at em, but got away from it.................

I for one, completely believe that. I know that the O-line totally manned up for this game, and they did a great job, but to think that they could have had CS or KW cleared for a nonstop running attack is crazy.

If WE were so shocked that JL was still dropping back to pass, don't you think it caught Lil Nicky and the bama-D a little off guard?????

I'm at the point with Lee, that I could be labeled a "Lee Basher", but I see no point in the coach ripping Lee on the sidelines or locker room. I'm sure Lee, internally, already feels like crap that he's cost his team at least 1 or 2 games now. No need for coach the go off on him.

LSU prolly averaged 5 yds a pop in the Power "I" this game and ran it way more than they threw it and a team must keep the defense off balance, but in critical points in drives, like the OT drive, LSU could have did exactly what CS asked................let him carry the load!!!

In all fairness, people complained miles didn't do this to JR when he threw a pick. They wanted miles immitating Saban running around like a maniac cursing at anybody standing in his way. Personally, i don't think you need to yell at anyone to get their attention.

Arkansas beat us last year without a passing game.

If they stack the box, run to the outside, use some sweeps. that will spread them out.
