And it was the last game I went to with my dad

6 months and 9 days later, he met his Maker

For that reason, I will forever cherish that day.

I swear LSU fans are the only ones who care this much about night games.

Sam Bradford was the #1 NFL Draft Pick

Last rookie to receive that much guaranteed money with signing bonus.

Bradford didn’t do much at all in his career

Bradford's a big deal: Rams give rookie QB $50M guaranteed

Burrow's deal is believed to include a $23.9 million signing bonus

2022 Travon Walker # 1 pick a deal that includes a $24.4 million signing bonus.

230 is ideal just so I can get back to New Orleans at a reasonable hour instead of 2am.

There was a time when no one wanted to play a day game we couldn't win during the day to save our arse's.

I was there! My last time to see them play Bama in TS. I'm the key, and I'll be at the next one.

I feel like that's always been exaggerated. I remember some very big day wins. Bama, Georgia, Auburn, Florida...etc. The "we play better at night" belief is a myth. People simply want to avoid baking in the sun and have a few more hours to drink prior to kickoff.

I was there. Great game.

LSU should have won the 2008-09 games, and the 2012 and 2014 games.

My poor son was traumatized because I yelled the whole way home. Jefferson to Randle.

This program is well on its way to beating Bama with much more regularity than once in 10 years. All we were missing was stout, well coached lines. We've had the playmakers year in and year out. We lost by 6 last year with Max freaking Johnson under center. Our offensive line will be much improved and our D-line will be top 5 nationally if they play to potential. I get why people are hesitant to say this team will win 10 or 11 games because it's BK's first year, but I wouldn't be shocked to see it. He came here for that challenge. He came here to win big games and not be limited by the academic requirements he had at ND. I think he'll beat Saban at least once in his first 2 years.

Leslie Ann Miles INSISTED on squib kicking the kickoff after going up by 3 late in the game to the front corner of the endzone. Or at least trying to, resulting in a penalty and 1st down at the 35 or 40 yard line for Bama. In like 3-4 plays, they tie the game and send it into OT. Miles went from balls of steel to absolute chickenshit.

The last time LSU beat Alabama in Tiger Stadium?
The 2012 game I knew we were gonna win…mettenberger dominated the 2nd half. When he hit The pass in flat to Copeland that went for 50 yards to start the 4th I thought the uppers were gonna collapse….only for uncle Nick to rip our hearts once more.

Nov.2012. The whole day on campus was the most electric but tension-filled I've ever seen on a GameDay. You cut the anticipation with a knife.
Alabama had 0 yards offense and 0 first downs THE ENTIRE SECOND HALF, until that last drive :(
When OBJ caught that 3rd and long pass down to about the Bama 20, I thought we had it. The bama fans sitting around us were slumped down.
But no, let's go BACKWARDS after that, and miss a FG. And give them the ball one more time, and promptly miss a coverage on the back out of the backfield.
So frustrating.

Same thing in 2014. We had that game wrapped up also...
