It was a 2:30 game. We've lost the last 5 night games against them in Tiger Stadium.

Need a 2:30 CBS game this yr.

Woke up that morning, stepped outside, took a deep breath of the perfect early November air and just knew we were going to win that day.

What a day.

I don’t think it will happen again.

2016 was rough too because our defense dominated the whole game and were screwed on the 1 hurts TD run with 3 missed holding calls.

2010, 2012, & 2014 are some of my fondest memories in Tiger Stadium and on campus. Unbelievable energy for all of these games.

No, Les Miles pulled a Lucy while all us Tiger fans were Charlie Brown. All we needed was one more first down and we could take a knee, and Les went into the goal line offense from the 30 yard line instead of letting Mett and Landry carve them up for 10 more yards. They were unstoppable that second half until Les pulled the plug.

I can see Nuss hitting boutte rn for an upset. Probably more of a hallucination, but it sure would be cool.

I get the whole mystique of Saturday night in Death Valley but we actually play better in the 230 slot. I care more about winning than having a cool atmosphere and losing. Winning creates the coolest atmosphere. You can get drunk before during and after.

The 2012 game
Les sat on that lead as usual and played not to lose. Milked it until he couldn't milk it anymore.

I remember starting to walk down the steps as soon as we failed to convert the first down.
Then Yeldon breaks loose a few plays later.. Was almost as if he pranced into the end zone staring up saying y'all knew how this was going to end

if 1/9/12 didn't make you hate Les, that game definitely did

Alabama loves playing in Tiger Stadium.

I’m sure their fans love making the trip to BR as well.

In contrast, LSU loves playing in Tuscaloosa.

Even with the terrible 8 game losing streak that finally ended in 2019, LSU is still 6-5 in Tuscaloosa in the 2000s.

It usually feels good outside, during day games in November too. The sun also sets right around the start of the 4th quarter for 2:30 games, so you still get that Death Valley at night mystique, and the momentum kind of shifts towards LSU’s side usually. I like 2:30 November games.
