This is what's killing me. Kelly isn't calling the plays for any of the three phases. Stuff like this is what he's supposed to be good at. I'm not even convinced he works with players during the week. I'm getting hard "I'm the guy at the top, coordinators can run their groups" vibes.

We kept trying to throw that swing pass or a pass similar to it to RBs and WRs over and over and it kept failing every time. Nuss couldn't even throw those accurately.
So our players were playing really bad and then the coaching was even worse on top of that. The sequence going into halftime was a 5-star display of incompetent coaching. Like, can BK or anyone on the coaching staff not think clearly anymore?
Or how about taking Durham out of the game after he almost scored a TD on his first run and then not putting him back in for the whole red zone series where we did absolutely nothing after his long run.

Tiger Stadium failed us on that one. They never showed a replay inside the stadium that TV had that clearly showed the facemask. Same thing on the Lacy catch overturn late in the game.

That entire set of downs was atrocious.
First off you already burned two timeouts AT HOME ON OFFENSE so you were down to 1.
Ball at the 50 ~1 min n the half.
First down- false start.. 1st 15 incomplete to the sideline
Second down- for the first time in the night you throw the ball over the middle of the field. Mind you it was for a 3 yard gain with no chance to make it to the boundary and stop the clock. And you have to take your final timeout.
Third down- WR screen for a 7 yard loss. Not even sure how that is possible.
Fourth down- you watch as the clicks down 30 seconds with bama not having a timeout and walk to the locker room.

Not even a hail mary, a 15-20 yard pass, gets the first, sets up field goal range. First down stops the clock, hurry, go spike the ball and kick a field goal
