There is no excuse for why Knox wasn’t in the game during those free throws over Z. Johnson. Knox is taller and more athletic. When rebounding is needed, you leave one of your smaller post players in the game. That’s poor coaching. Kim has been frozen from substituting in close SEC games. She needs to trust her bench more. It’s criminal that Bella Hines didn’t see the court at all.

We have been missing big on the recruiting trail for an elite big. In the women's game, and elite big is the difference.

I correctly said it was a disaster when “Runner-up” Redus lost Serah Williams to UConn. She would have been the scoring-rebounding machine at forward to succeed Reese-Morrow.

But no, the usual WBB “experts” proclaimed Koval and Joyner were the second coming of Wilt Chamberlain and Karl Malone. We had to get somebody and they were leftovers on the portal scrap pile.

Kim knows what she’s doing. But for this particular team, her patsy OOC schedule did nothing but breed overconfidence. This team, especially the new players, thought they were world-beaters and froze up when faced with a team that can actually fight back.

I said that our ceiling was probably Elite Eight. Hell, now I’m worried that our hosting a Regional is in danger. This team is weak up front and the backcourt isn’t compensating. We’re seriously staring a 1-4 or even 0-5 SEC start squarely in the face.
