Random question, but I take it that Alabama has surpassed Ole Miss in New Orleans as the school to go to/pull for?
Typically, when going through Uptown, the majority of flags were Ole Miss. I've recently noticed that they are mostly Alabama flags now.

I'm from out of state, and went to LSU when Miles was getting beat down by Saban. Can't call me a bandwagoner, RTWFU.

They are normally graduates of a Louisiana school other than LSU and simply hate the passion and attention LSU gets from the state. Those same Alabama fans were Florida/Auburn fans when Saban was here.
I’m sure there are some of these. But of the 15 or so Louisiana native Bama fans I’ve personally met, not one has ever stepped foot into a university campus.
Wait, that’s not entirely not fair.. universities have fry cooks too I suppose.

Me too...lived in Montgomery for three years. Right in the middle of Auburn and Tuscaloosa is when I became a bigger LSU fan. And I'm originally from the Baton Rouge area. Now I see all these people I went to high school with claiming to be big die hard Bama fans. I know they didn't pull for Bama until they started winning.
Same. I went to high school in Alabama during the Shula years. People back then who gave no indication of even following college football went full bore by 2009.

Bamadict Arnolds.
Emotionally weak. Emotionally immature. Losers that need to pull for a winner to feel important. Self-esteem issues.
From my perspective? Deserving of no respect at all just from that simple act. Reveals more about their character than anything else they could say or do. Wouldn't piss on them if they we're on fire. fricking traitors, should be drawn and quartered.

Had a bunch in the Florida parishes area. God they made me hate the Cowboys
Yep. Seems like there's a lot of these traitors in the loser redneck areas of our great state. Like North Louisiana and Tangipahoa and Washington parishes.

Worse scum on the earth, lower than worm shite. Should all be used as gator bait. Bama born fans can’t help it. As soon as they can walk they have to choose Bama or Auburn.
But for a Louisiana boy to knowingly choose to be a bama fan is like a Jewish man choosing to be an Nazi SS member.

I am originally from Mandeville - all my family is still there. Live in Murfreesboro, TN now and everyone in this damn town is a Bama fan and they are from here. Not Vols and definitely not Vandy. Sidewalk fans one and all.

I’m a 100% LSU fan since birth. But I do have a friend that is a big Bama fan. At first, I thought he was a bandwagoner and I gave him crap. But then after I heard him tell the story of his dad being a Bama fan and his childhood memories of watching football games with his dad who passed away when he was only 10 yrs old I totally understood why he’d be a Bama fan now. Most of us a LSU fans because of where we live or where we were born. Some people have other reasons for being fans of their team and there isn’t anything wrong with that.

They're the same bunch of people that are Patriots fans, warriors fans, Yankees fans...etc. They have no connection at all to the teams they pull for, they just pull for the hot teams at the time lol. They're not really fans at all honestly. They are what we call bandwagon fans. They've never even been to a game of the teams they claim to be a huge fan of, don't know shite about the program other than the last few years, and definitely couldnt tell you shite about their "teams" and their past. They're s joke and aren't respectable loyal fans at all.
