It's the lazy way to be a fan. Just disregard all sense of community and pick a team that wins a lot.
LSU is far and away my most successful sports program I pull for.

Unless he went to Alabama my first thought is fair weather fan. People like that often drift around to whichever team is currently winning.

Only good thing about them here is that they are all Chiefs fans. They don't bandwagon off of the Chiefs....lol

Every day last week I saw people driving around BR with Bama flags on their vehicles knowing damn well they couldn’t even point in the general direction of Tuscaloosa on a map. Haven’t seen any this week so the cure for that shite is winning apparently

I went to high school with someone who claims to be a huge LSU fan EXCEPT when we play Bama. Then they post all over social media about how much they love Saban so will always pull for his team to win, even over LSU. I don't get that kind of deep stupid.

I was born and raised in Mississippi and an LSU fan. It all depends on was it from birth, even when the team was bad or just because they are good.

Have a family member (in law) like this. Bandwagon Bama fan. I know 20 times more about Bama football than he does & I hate Bama. I clown his arse hard in front of everybody. I'll up it to a more pathetic breed.... My cousins bf is a bama fan and when he friended me on facebook it said he went to bama.. and I thought oh wow...that makes sense...cool. I had family over the day of the Auburn game and made a comment like....guess you actually pulling for us for once...he looked confused and said umm...no I don't like either team I guess.... sure enough he's never set foot in Tuscaloosa, just lists himself as a bama grad cause he's a fan..and he's a fan cause he started watching CFB about the time they started dominating

I know someone whose kid didn’t get accepted to LSU and now roots passionately for Alabama... but their kid didn’t go to Bama either. It’s pathetic.

My mother in law in Bossier is a Bama fan too. No ties to Alabama. She does it just to one up my wife. It has been annoying for the last 8 years.

Right? I don't get this. Alabama is actually harder to get into than LSU. If LSU told you no, Alabama wouldn't want you either. I see this post struck a nerve cause these fricks are definitely around and they all seem to fall into the same category of people.

My only hope is that they all stay alabama fans. I give it 2 more seasons of LSU consistently winning and they’ll start buying up LSU gear claiming they’ve always been LSU fans b/c they were born and raised here...and LSU is winning
