The injuries have to be accounted for in some capacity

Anding
Reilford
Ross
Weeks
Green
Wright
Spears
I know everyone is focused on the 4th and 1, or the QB draw in OT, but in every close game the close plays get magnified. We have back ups to back ups having to play and extending time on the field for the starters. This will catch up with the team even more so down the line.
Just to keep things in perspective. And yes, it sucked to lose last night

This is likely an NIL era problem now moving forward. Players looking to get paid ( and rightfully so). Will go to the highest bidder and not take less from another team in a backup capacity so no depth is built. After your front line and a couple quality subs production falls off quickly- this will be an all teams problem not just an LSU problem- I’d venture to say the injury bug has hit us just as hard as anyone

3 of those are starters...I think one of the glaring problems is the lack of depth at each position maybe aside from DL. We have legit 2s there but no 3s. Every other position is maybe one good 2.
Losing weeks and having nothing legitimate behind him at this point is just what it is. Hard to land a difference maker in the transfer portal just ask Jay Johnson last year. Keys has been an utter dumpster fire since he got here, dude is literally just a tackling machine 5 yards plus down field. Always gets eaten up by oline, has no lateral movement in tight to get around and is D.J. Welter bad in coverage, completely lost and finds time to look absolutely dumbfounded.

UK lost 1 projected starter to injuries, a WR

Injuries don’t mean you sit back with zero pressure and let UK march down the field at the end of the game. Their QB was horrible when under pressure, so obviously let’s lay off on the most important drive of the game

That sucks. Coaches and players get paid a shite ton of money to deal with stuff like that.

How’s moffitt doing these days
Posted on 10/11/26 at 8:53 am to RemyLeBeau
You can’t use it as an excuse. It’s next man up.
Posted on 10/11/26 at 8:54 am to RemyLeBeau
UK was playing without 3 of the top 4 LBers. Our backups are a bunch of 3/4 star kids that were recruited by big time schools.
I’m sick of this excuse
