"How does Alabama fall all the way to 12"
Guys, Bama's best win is against a 7-5 team (which they allowed 28 points in) - we crushed that team 50-7 last weekend. That's their best win! You think LSU deserves the #1 spot because of our record, but then you don't use this metric when talking about Alabama - instead, you resort to your most despised metric, the Eye Test. You say things like "Alabama would beat 4-5 teams in front of them"
"And how does Cincy only fall 1 spot"
Spots 10-5 are a hell of a lot tighter than spots 20-15. #5 losing a game is a lot more detrimental than #15 losing a game. But you know this, you just want to bitch about anything that doesn't help YOUR team. This is why fans are laughed at - you are dishonest.
"How is Penn St ahead of Bama"
They have 2 wins against top 25 teams. This supports your most important metric - record.
"How does Michigan only fall 1 spot"
Again, they have 2 wins against top 25 teams. Again, this supports your most important metric - record.
"CFP is favoring the Big Ten"
Minnesota dropped TEN spots!
Top 15
SEC - 5 teams
Big 10 - 4 teams
Big 12 - 2 teams
Pac 12 - 2 teams
ACC - 1 team
Ind - 1 team
Bottom line - the CFP was giving Alabama benefit of doubt (same thing they're doing to Clemson), and Bama failed to prove themselves. They had 2 chances against ranked teams and in each of those games gave up over 45 points and lost. If Clemson lost this weekend, they would plummet as well and you would agree with it! (because we don't have a W against Clemson)
I want LSU to be #1 too, but our defense just hasn't been as good as OSU - this doesn't even require eye test to see. Look at the stats. I do think, however, if we beat Georgia convincingly and hold them to low points, we will move to #1.

Why we want to look at stats now? Just a couple weeks ago LSU has the best stats but OHIO had the eye test!

SEC's 9-3 team is 3 spots higher than Big 10's 9-3 team. The SEC's 4 best teams are ranked higher than the Big 10's 4 best teams.

Committee artificially pumped-up the big10 because of their wins over highly ranked. But they’re high-ranked because they’re pumping-up the big10. That’s the part you’re missing.

The gist of it is they dont want the top 10 loaded with SEC Teams LSU has beat bc then the committee would have no argument to keep LSU from jumping OSU...Same reasons why Cincy didnt fall out of top 25 and why Michigan only fell one spot...This ranking this week made it clear what they want and what they will get...They are pumping OSU to have the most "quality" Wins to keep top 4 the same...its sad

LSU's opponents have have much better offenses than the teams OSU played. We played. We played 3 top 30 offenses. They played 0. We played the #6 and 15 offenses. their best two were 34 and 36.
We played 3 offenses ranked outside the top 70. They played 6. Their defense looks better on paper because they played a much weaker schedule.
