Jackson is avg like 310 papg and 130 rypg and like 5 TDs a game. He is going to win the Heisman.

Plus if one of his WRwould have manned up at the end of the Clemson game they are probably undefeated. I think they are probably one of the top two teams.

Why does anyone care about the Heisman anyway? It's just an offensive MVP award for whatever team is the favorite to win the national title and has nothing whatsoever to do with being the best player in CFB.

After last night, LF is back in the discussion. The Bama game will decide a lot of things for us.

I think IF Fournette puts on a show in these last games and puts up 100-150+ in each game and LSU wins it he definetly will be heisman. Lamar Jackson is out there slinging it on nobody schools and they aren't even undefeated anymore. They played a half decent defense at Clemson and you saw LJ being slowed down from his usual numbers. From an eye test everyone can see that LF7 is the best player in CFB he just needs to execute in november.

With regrets, I see no way that he wins the Heisman . . . but I would at least like to see him get an invite to NY.

The Heisman is won in November, Leonard....UPDATED

I have as much of a chance to win the Heisman as Leonard. He's missed half the season

Wrong. While unlikely, it is possible. The key is having a big game against Bama as well as winning the game.

Derrick Henry wasn't even a thought on the voters minds until his 200 yard game against LSU in November. LF7 can do the same thing this year baws, the EXACT SAME THING

Whenever I watch fournette truck that dude, I hear that announcer from the Texas-Norte dame game saying," fournette is back folks!"

Man I wish he would have been held out early in the season when he wasn't healthy, it was painfully obvious and last night all but solidifies that.

If he does what he did last night to the rest of his opponents, he can win it! That's about what it will take.

Still a lot of ball left to be played, but would take jackson getting hurt or an epic collapse by Louisville for the heisman race to open back up. But then LF7 would be in the middle of it.

Yeah Jackson is obviously the favorite. Their schedule is absolutely pathetic so he will keep putting up numbers. But if they drop another game, with Houston being pretty much the best option, I think he will lose a lot of the shine on his resume.

It's also key that Clemson keep winning unfortunately. If they end up in the ACCCG and he is blowing up on their way to the CFP I don't think LF can beat him, although he could still absolutely get an invite.

But if they are out of it, preferably with 2 losses, and LSU makes a run to the SECCG with Fournette still dominating, I absolutely think he can win.

The Heisman can turn into a lifetime achievement award if someone doesn't clearly stand out, and given his run the past three years I wouldn't be a bit surprised to see voters give him a bump for all he has done.

Especially since he is going to be an NFL star too. There are fewer and fewer Heisman winners doing anything in the NFL, so adding him to their ranks would benefit their brand too.

Well wouldn't it be nice to have one of our guys be considered offensive MVP for the favorite to win the national title??

And pretty sure it would mean something to Fournette. So I'm all for him reaching a milestone that will give him a place in CFB history since he chose to come and play for our team in the hope to bring a championship back to our program.

Derrick Henry won the Heisman last year based on his performance against us. IF LF gets untracked against Bama and goes 200+ yards on them, he will be in the top 3 in the Heisman discussion. It's a longshot, but hell, how would have LSU performed against Bama in years past if we hadn't left our legs on the practice field? LSU sure seems to have had a lot more stamina these last 3 games...

If LF has over 1200 yards (with highlight reels against Bama) and LSU wins the SEC he will be in NY. I'm 100% sure of this

If we are in the SECCG fournette will have those numbers. Win and he's in.

Unfortunately he is not 100%. Hope he can stay healthy, even at 80-90% he is still the best RB in the country

If you're trying to get a message through to Leonard, he only posts on the soccer board.
