Simpson is a much better passer than any of those dual threat QBs you mentioned. Plus, I will continue to harp on an obvious weakness in the LSU defense...a poor pass rush. Even these dual threat guys only take off and run after they have scanned the field. The secondary has been excellent and really the strength of the team. Without Whit Weeks, the LBers are average at best, and the DL IMO is BELOW average in the SEC. Unless they get a pass rush on Simpson, LSU has 0 chance in this game. Even a good secondary can't cover receivers forever.

Also, they are just as bad at running the football as we are. I would love to ruin their saturday night. Go in there and play with nothing to lose. Nussmier better sling around the yard with no nerves.

Simpson is doing very well but it’s worthy to note his relative lack of mobility. That has been our Achilles.

We can win this one. It’s going to take a very good game from Nuss and a running game to compliment

At least one turnover for our defense

Offset by the obligatory 2 (if we are lucky) Nussmeir turnovers per game.

Yes however what scares me is that Simpson this year has done fantastic under pressure. And given that we blitz more than pretty much everyone else i am a little worried about that.

Alabama has allowed 15 sacks. We've allowed 18.

They arent nearly as good as you think.

He doesn’t have lack of mobility…he doesn’t run bc he simply does not have to.

He’s more than capable of pulling the ball down and running if necessary…see the last drive vs South Carolina.

The good news about Alabama

It is on the road and Bama fans will not be able to move into the student section of LSU at the beginning of the 4th quarter.

LSU fans will not be able to shout "Fire Brian Kelly" He has been fired.

It will be over before you know it.
