Saban will push for Tua to play period. He ran Derick Henry about +40 times a game at the end of the 2016 season to try and get him the Heisman. He isn’t going to want Mac Jones at Qb.

I'm definitely not saying he won't play. I think Tua plays to some degree. Maybe Saban has said this before and I never noticed, but I found it interesting when he said that even if he's medically cleared to play, he will leave it up to the player. I know that's not earth shattering, but it was odd that he would say that.
