I agree - IMO it looks good at midfield because they can fade the edges out to where it seems to blend into the field, but on a hat or shirt it has a more solid outline and looks like a purple and gold blob.

Interestingly, it is strictly a logo for LSU Football, not LSU Athletics, and can’t be used for other purposes.
I learned that my senior year while trying to get approval from the marketing department on a shirt for a club team.

I honestly only like the end zone LSU font, eye of the Tiger, or the Tiger head that’s on our helmets. I can’t believe Tounces was actually a thing. Like wtf

1972 logo is the goat. I like the current one that looks like that. Needs to be more prominent and on more stuff
