Dellinger I was very good, but not a 7-sack difference.

a situation of compounding failures.

Chester was not great before Dellinger got hurt.

Put him next to Mubenga and now you have a huuuuge issue.

Got any extra rope? There are quite a few posters here whose fears and paranoia and trolling can be solved as they say in the old westerns..."a long drop and a short rope."

Entire OL bids "Farewell and Adieu." (And hopefully the OL Coach after the Mediocrity Bowl game)

In any case, Chester needs to be a Guard to get any usefulness out of him at all.

Most of the 2025 OL's (And Coach) are not on the roster currently.

You go into Clemson with the current OL's on the roster and Nussmeier will not make it to halftime!

A few years ago we started two true freshman at our tackle positions (Campbell & Jones) and they turned out ok. We will be fine.

That doesn’t happen very often.

What’s wrong with you miserable fricks. We’ve recruited the ol position better than any other position group. We have highly ranked guys coming into year two that you haven’t seen play yet, and that’s doomsday? Grow up.

Good thing we'll have a mobile quarterback that's not afraid to pull it down and run to get us a first down.... lol My bad. Was thinking of another quarterback be recently had!

I totally agree. Losing this whole line doesn’t mean the sky is falling. How many times did the tigers have 4th and 1. Didn’t make it. Run blocking was pathetic. Miles in my opinion always had very good blocking and could recruit them also

Did anyone really expect Jones to return? Naive, if so.

All players are different. By your logic, Nuss should have headed to the Draft too. He had a better path to a higher pick in this draft than he will likely get next year, even if he has a great season. He came back anyway.

Some players want the first round. Some are good with a bit lower and starting the clock toward getting that 2nd contract where the real money is if they play well. Jones is the later.

Pass blocking was great at times, but got dicey in the back half of the season once teams figured out that Nuss was not going to run if no one was open or if the pocket was breaking down.

You forgot being down a 4 year starter in Dellinger for 5 1/2 games and another 3 year starter in Frazier for most of the UF game. And we played a 3rd string Guard in Mubenga because Adams was fresh off surgery.

Let’s not act like this had nothing to do with the pass blocking not being as good the final 1/3 of the season.

The entire oline sucked. Worse LSU oline ever. Couldn't even pick up 1 yard on 3 and 4th downs. Good riddings. I'd rather start off from scratch

A- I hope you’re drunk. If not, you may be having a stroke.

B- This wasn’t the worst LSU OL in the last 5 years

C- Forget about A. You’re fricking brain dead.

To the OP....we heard all off-season last year how this years Offensive Line was going to be the strength of our team. Well that obviously was a reach. This OL we had under achieved all season according to what was predicted to be. So....I wouldn't say we will be fricked next year with portal players and incoming freshmen. Let's just wait and see.

Is that a terrible thing considering how bad the line was at half their job (run game)?
