Collis and Trent DEFINITELY had a feud. Probably still do. Anyone who says otherwise is laughably naive or lying.

Collis' job is to get kids into the best schools he can. If he doesn't trust the coach, that's his prerogative.

you're not the only one i've heard this from. he's been very vocal about it. what's that say about him? i've lost a lot of respect.
what is lsu suppose to do, now? consult with ct and pick the coach he would like? (john brady) if he wants to be that involved and have say who to hire, then post for the a.d. position.
he's handled this very poorly. it's one thing to have a disagreement. it's another to make it as public as he has. trent more likely than not has a part in it as well, however, you don't here him complaining about ct. it's called professionalism and maturity.

To my knowledge, Collis has never helped lsu get a player that was not from the BR area.. so who exactly have we missed out on due to CT2 ??

trent could very well put the dirty laundry out there about his side of the ct disagreement. he doesn't.
lsu has had an example of someone complaining about everyone and everything other than what they are suppose to be concerned about. his name was john brady.
it's a difference of opinion. i just like people who handle their differences in a quiet manner.
i wouldn't want my friends, supporters, wife, children, ect. airing our differences publicly. you keep it in house. try to work through it and keep moving forward. that's just me.

There are two sides to every story. I'm sure there was a beef of some sort, although I don't believe JR33's version of it. He claims he was also kicked to the curb by TJ, which raises Trent up a notch in my book.
I'm sure it was something along the lines of CT telling Trent what to do, or trying to have undue influence on the program, with TJ establishing his authority. If CT got his feelings hurt over that, then he is a puss anyway. He is not bigger than the program. Sounds like Daddy Dale patching things up.
BR has dried up as a hoops hotbed anyway, and CT's influence (or what is left of it) doesn't extend past there.
And with the recent reports of CT's cancer, surely he has more important things to be doing than trashing his alma mater.

What good would that do? He's the coach and the other guy is a disgruntled alum. TJ is the coach an should piss off alumni, an CT is alumni an people don't care what they do as long as they don't make LSU look bad.
CT doesn't like TJ for whatever reason and shouldn't be a little bitch about it in public, granted. However, he is not getting paid by LSU an can do whatever he wants to do. So him telling kids not to go to LSU really isn't a big deal. Not like there aren't a thousand people saying their school is better anyways.
