The thing is, the Dodgers have every interest in "coming close" to signing Lee. They absolutely can't fail to be seen as making a significant effort -- the fan base there is already unhappy with the losing season, etc. Lee may very well sign, but we would be watching this drama either way.

Good luck to Lee whatever he decides. But, LM really should never have put the team in this position. Needed to have signed more than 1 qb last class.

I keep seeing this. I don't follow recruiting as close as many here. So, did Mile's NOT recruit any other QBs, or did he recruit them but they chose to sign elsewhere.

If he actually did not even recruit any, yeah that's pretty damn stupid. But, if he did recruit others and they chose not to come, is it really his fault?
