The decline begin in the LSU locker room in the Superdome in January 2012 with the huge fight.

The excuses are getting ridiculous. Miles didn't leave a perfect roster but the pitiful performance by us this saturday definitely falls back on the current coaches

Non stop penalties, zero emotion, lack of fight was completely evident.

We were dominated in every aspect to an MSU team. This isn't Bama. I am not saying MSU isn't a good team but the coaches did a bad job having this team prepared for this game. We looked unprepared with zero answers in every area.

Even with little depth in certain areas, to be completely dominated 37-7 is unacceptable. 7 points against MSU. That really is awful considering we will face much better defenses down the road.

The rest of the SEC seems to have gotten bigger and stronger than LSU,especially at the line of scrimmage

's all Miles's fault.

It's Orgeron's fault that the team is horrendously undisciplined and pretty much quit against Miss St.

It's Miles' fault that the last five years of recruiting the O and D linemen by him and his subordinates was subpar. Its Miles' fault he phoned it in his last couple of years.

Both coaches and the administration have contributed to LSU becoming a middle of the road program as of right now.

No... just no.

Coming off the championship season, we were elite in 2012 and very good in 2013.

The "decline" began in 2014 when we couldn't find a QB to replace Mett. But even then we had the best player in the nation which made up for some of that.

I think the decline actually started before that and it all boils down to one event. Ryan Perriloux getting kicked off the team. 2011 was a pleasant anomaly.

Dude the 2012 season was awful The only highlight was that LSU was beating Bama the entire game before Les and Chavis choked. 2013, we bounced back but still pushed around by Bama. 2014-2016 were bad and this season is the worse I have seen LSU since 99.

The was decline was exacerbated when that fool Alleva extended Miles' contract in 2013.

The decline began when we blew the game against Bama in Tiger Stadium in 2012 and hasn't slowed down at all since
