So, after the news yesterday, and it looks like it is true.
That gives us Williams, Jackson and Durham. I would think CBK and Wilson are looking in the portal for depth and experience. Are there any good RB's out there to choose from? I hate this for Holly but it does thin out our RB room baring an injury.

You hate this for a guy that attempted to murder someone? Jesus dude, it’s not like he tore his ACL in winter conditioning. He straight up tried to kill someone. He doesn’t deserve your sympathy.

We have a couple walkons in the room that will get plenty of reps during spring. There are still plenty of guys in the portal if they need more bodies.

Diggs, Bradford, & Goodwin are all idiots but maybe Frank didn’t want them either

Alleged, and charged, innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Could be "guilty" by association

We don’t need a stud rb, we need a body that can come in and produce when needed, I think Jackson and Williams will be fine and Durham can chip in when needed, one more experienced rb that has a year left to play is all we need imo!!
Let’s be honest, how much was Holley really gonna produce next season? Yea I’m sure he would get some chances to prove himself over the long haul but at end of the day, yes it sucks but we will be fine and I think they grab one rb in the portal!

Jackson has the potential to have a breakout year if he can get the pass protection portion of his game down

you can hate that he put himself in this situation, but he decided to go to those apartments with his friends when they all had guns.
He won’t get any sympathy from me & deserves whatever comes his way. He’s on Gordon’s payroll so maybe he gets off, but it ain’t looking good.

What makes Bradford and Goodwin idiots exactly?

Legally. Just like OJ. The outcome of a trial doesn't mean a person did or did not commit a crime.

But still, it is sad when a young person throws their life away.

The days of the Running Back in the NFL are mostly over. Is it not the same in College? Much less of an emphasis so adding another body for depth is fine. We have serious talent coming in the door over the next two seasons. I think we will be ok.

Choosing to leave for greener pastures before they even competed for the job. I’m sure they will do great at UAB & UNT though

You might be putting too much faith in the courts.

If he’s stupid enough to associate with people that would try to murder someone then he deserves what’s coming. But let’s be real, I think I read that 3 separate guns were fired and 3 were arrested so that tells all right there.

It is always a sad situation when a young person makes stupid decisions. And you can hate that they made those decisions while understanding that the consequences are deserved. It is also understandable that someone would have sympathy for all the lives impacted by the stupidity, including the young person who made the stupid decision and threw away his potential life.

I remember the founding pastor of our church saying many years ago that any of us is capable of anything we have seen people do. "There but for the grace of god go I" basically. As he pointed out, small changes in your life could have sent you down a different path. Things like who your parents were and how they approached raising you, the neighborhood and neighbors you grew up around, things you were exposed to as a very young child or growing up, and many other things, He also went on to say it does not mean you don't deserve the consequences of your action or should be excused in any way. It is only an explanation for why someone may do something unthinkable for you or I.

Its like some people think he blew out his knee instead of blowing away 2 people. How about you hate it for the people he shot.

Sure, he’ll have his day in court. However, the evidence and information that has been released doesn’t bode well for him. The fact that he’s dumb enough to even put himself in this kind of situation is a major problem.
