You hate this for a guy that attempted to murder someone? Jesus dude, it’s not like he tore his ACL in winter conditioning. He straight up tried to kill someone. He doesn’t deserve your sympathy.
Don’t know any major details, but I heard it started with somebody fighting his sister. I won't speculate anything further other than, if he did do something, hopefully it was in self defense.

It was almost assuredly not self defense. You could say it was retaliation

Correct. But you dont get to ignore the facts that led to the arrest. Shooting an innocent bystander 3x in the back isnt like "robbery gon wrong and self defense"

correct, it only applies to the gov't in a criminal trial. It doesn't apply at all to what employers can do or what the public can think.

I mean, should any employer have to wait the years it takes for a case to wind its way through the courts to suspend or fire an employee accused of attempted murder?

Of course not.

Legally. Just like OJ. The outcome of a trial doesn't mean a person did or did not commit a crime.

But still, it is sad when a young person throws their life away.
The term guilty til proven innocent would like to have word with you. What else matters other than a trial by a jury of his peers in determining innocence or guilt?

No, No, No. No need to sound dramatic. We are fine at RB. Williams is reliable and a heck of a blocker. Jackson looked great in limited pt, and just needed time to pick up blocking. The kid is a beast. You could see the talent every time he entered the game. People in this thread are sleeping on how good Durham is. He could be the starter a few games in. He dominated top level high school defenses. And he came up big in the biggest games.

I am fine with picking up a portal guy because injuries happen, but we have plenty of talent. If any one of the three that left in the off-season were still here, I would guess we would not add another.

It is always a sad situation when a young person makes stupid decisions. And you can hate that they made those decisions while understanding that the consequences are deserved. It is also understandable that someone would have sympathy for all the lives impacted by the stupidity, including the young person who made the stupid decision and threw away his potential life.

I remember the founding pastor of our church saying many years ago that any of us is capable of anything we have seen people do. "There but for the grace of god go I" basically. As he pointed out, small changes in your life could have sent you down a different path. Things like who your parents were and how they approached raising you, the neighborhood and neighbors you grew up around, things you were exposed to as a very young child or growing up, and many other things, He also went on to say it does not mean you don't deserve the consequences of your action or should be excused in any way. It is only an explanation for why someone may do something unthinkable for you or I.

What? They're not freshmen. They're both upperclassmen who've competed for the job for multiple seasons. They just lost the competition. And I'm sure their leaving was a mutual decision. They probably wanted to finally play somewhere, the coaches told them it wouldn't be here, so they moved on. In the best interests of both the players and LSU.

What an a-hole thing to say. I can't tell if you're an a-hole or just fricking stupid. Or both. But you're an absolutely atrocious poster. Be better.

Agree with your football perspective, but no need to come at him so strong. There are much worse takes than his on the regular here. Maybe save some hate for when it is needed more.

So for shits and giggles, I went back to 2015 to see how many RBs logged rushing attempts each year.

The least was 4 RBs (2015 and 2022) and the most was 7 RBs (last year). In each of the other 6 years, we had 5 RBs with rushing attempts.

To put it another way - the only years we had less than 5 RBs with rushing attempts were 2015 (when we had 3 NFL RBs on the roster) and 2022 (when Jayden Daniels had more rushing attempts than the next 2 RBs combined).

That doesn’t mean we can’t get by with 3-4 RBs. But it does mean we would likely need all of the scholarship RBs on the roster to contribute. And we would be in a very tough spot if anyone were to get injured.

RB Room

Where are these rooms that everyone speaks of? I seriously doubt that if you walk up and down the halls of the ops building or locker room will you find a "RB ROOM" or "QB ROOM", etc. But it's a dumb phrase that everyone keeps using to sound edgy.

Nah, the only people being dumb and edgy are the ones acting like this hasn’t been a thing for a long time in high-level football programs.

Was Diggs an idiot when he left Notre Dame to come to LSU? Or how about Jayden Daniel’s, was he an idiot as well?
