Jackson has the potential to have a breakout year if he can get the pass protection portion of his game down

is this a known weakness of his identified by the staff or the basic assumption that all freshman struggle with blitz pickup??

I think the latter. Stud RBs in high school are the primary offense, they get fed the ball constantly. Most of their involvement in the passing game is to be the target on a screen, or to be the guy throwing (if they are actually the QB as a great athlete).

Things like pass-blocking and blitz pickup are completely new to them. You don't sign a guy based on his chip-blocking and recognition, but you don't play him much until he gets that part down.

He tore his ACL and would most likely move down in the depth chart.

You hate this for a guy that attempted to murder someone? Jesus dude, it’s not like he tore his ACL in winter conditioning. He straight up tried to kill someone. He doesn’t deserve your sympathy.
Holly's LSU Team Clean Sweep Attorney wrote that statement telling everybody that he be innocent.

They're going with the "Mistaken Identity" Defense.

The way so many in the fan base worship and idolize the Little Darlings, regardless of what they do outside their LSU Sports participation, makes me nauseous.

agreed. Just because a guy wears purple and gold shouldn't blind us to the fact they may not be a good guy.

The question I always ask myself is: What would we say if the guy played for Bama or A&M?

Being a blind homer is a really bad thing to be.
