This is absolutely ridiculous.

How many points did they score after we got "aggressive?"

The LBers were lost in the first half.

Are you slow? I'm starting to feel bad about even conversing with you at this point, you obviously have zero knowledge when it comes to football and how plays are called / adjusted to.

Are you really going to sit here and say that you were not arguing all day, every day, last season to defend the offensive production (or lack of production, should I say). There are about 50 people on this board who can verify what I'm saying.

Absolutely

What I argued is that burrow and theoffense improved at the end of the season

No one on this board was more wrong about this upcoming season than you

Your meltdowns over Burrow and the offense were legendary

The secondary struggled in the first half, yes, Mullen called a great game last night though and Trask made some good throws. Florida isn't that bad of a team.
Would like to have seen a little more mix of zone and man to try to confuse trask into some bad reads. What I didn't like to see was how confused the players looked at times on defense.

The problem with the approach is allows for the offense to dictate what hapoens, and can(often)give a quarterback confidence.
So can beating your blitz for 3 play drives(ask Burrow about this)

BOTH approaches come with their potential issues.

It's funny to watch Roger 100% troll this board given that he's one of the most reasonable posters on the Poli boards.

It's like a split personality.

It would be funny if he were trolling, but it's sad because he is serious.

You're the one saying that LSU should play soft all season, and I'm trolling?

I am not advocating a blitz on every play. What i am suggesting is give the appearance of pressure to keep opposing teams off balance. We were pretty vanilla in the first half.

I'm saying that they will because they have matchup problems.

And, I mean. For 6 games, I've been correct...….and...….we're 6-0.

Hell, I prefer smash em up, go after them all the time, play man in the back.

But that isn't what we have in terms of personnel. Not even close. And you know it.

You've been in the wrong camp all offseason and have the bpnerve to call out someone who actually predicted a record setting offense

How do you minimize matchup problems? Easy answer

The only thing embarrassing was the complete inability of the defense to stop a perfectly mediocre Florida offense with a severely inexperienced QB.

I think by the end of the year we'll see that Florida has the best offense in the SEC east. Good receivers with strong hands, good running back and Trask is pretty dang good. He sat in the pocket and hit several passes on the button. I was pretty impressed last night....Thank God we have burrow he's quite simply on another level.

This is the same shite I heard about Les and our past offense. “Coach knows best!” I think Aranda is a very good defensive mind but don’t tell me not to believe my lying eyes. The defense has looked bad. I hope they can figure it out but we definitely need to get a better pass rush.

We lost 2 studs last season in White and Williams. Stingley is a great replacement for Greedy and LB core is more than talented enough. We have more depth and experience across the line. We have heard all off season and spring that this Arandas deepest and most talented group. So why has it degressed? We haven't been playing better offensive teams. So I just want to know why are we not better on defense than last year?

Burrow has more experience, and was home.If you think Trask is on Burrow's level we just disagree.

For about 3 games, this shite drove me bat shite crazy. Frankly, because I hadn't developed full confidence in this offense.

But, I see at this point that, it's literally our plan to play "keep em in front of us until we get a chance to create a points gap and THEN, take chances approach".

We're doing it 100% because we have the utmost confidence in our offense.

It's gonna be ugly at times, but...…..it just might work.

that was chavis style. it does work. bend but do not break. trade TD's for FG's.

what is inexcusable is YOU DO NOT WAIT for halftime to adjust. that is 1980s shite.
