yes but for different reasons. Like Bama being ahead of Tennessee even though they lost the head to head matchup.
Equal number of losses. Bama has lost by a total of 4 points. Lost to Tenn at Tenn. And Tenn is down their starting QB from that game.
These are all factors the committee has always purportedly cared about.

I mean you could have complained about them ranking Florida State ahead of us.. but complaining about Ohio state dropping to #5 isn’t it

So you think 2 loss Bama should be ahead of 1 loss Ohio state?
Before we lost to A&M and we're ranked #5 did you have a problem with that? I'm sure you thought it was wrong since we lost by 27 to Tennessee huh?

Ohio St. got blew out by 22 points to Michigan and only fell to #5.
If you get blown out by 22 points there is no way that you should still be #5
The fact is there never seems to be 4 teams that can compete with #1 on a neutral field. Thus is the reason we don't need a 12 team playoff. #5 got blown out by #2 at home but they still have the better resume than #6. #4 will likely get blown out by #1 again this year and I'd be surprised to see #2 vs #3 be a close game as well

Getting beat by an undefeated 11-0 team doesn't drop one very far.

Now, if Michigan would’ve lost to OSU, then you have an argument for Bama to be at 5 and Michigan at 6.

LSU was at 5 last week and got curbed stomped by Tennessee at home.

No you're full of BS. LSU was in position to win the SEC until they lost to A&M the were respect because of being in the SEC.
Michigan didn't have their starting RB and still ran the ball down Ohio St.'s throat
Bama has to losses in the SEc by a total of 4 points. Afield goal beat them at then of regulation and a 1 point loss in OT
So what I'm reading is you're fully onboard with Bama in the playoffs?

There's no team below them that deserves to go to the CFP.

100% accurate

You can be #5 if you’re the fifth best team. Using your logic LSU shouldn’t even be ranked.

Did you watch the game? It wasn’t quite a blowout. It was a back and forth game until one or two big plays put Ohio State behind the eight ball late.

IF LSU BEAT THE DAWS AND USC LOSE. BAMA WILL JUMP OHIO STATE BECAUSE THAT MAKES BAMA LOST TO LSU GOOD LOST .SO WOULD YOU GIVE UP A SEC CHAMPION TO KEEP BAMA OUT THE PLAY OFFS

A two loss Alabama should certainly be ranked ahead of Ohio State. Both Bama losses came on last play of the game and were close. Ohio was blown out and simply not as good as Alabama. Should TCU or USC stumble Alabama should be #4.

We were blown out by Tenn and we were ranked 5. i dont't see the point

Now do this for wins. Alabama has one good win? That was close, came down to the last play, against a team missing their QB. That means that win has less merit, right?
Ohio State has one loss, that happens to be better than either of Alabama's two losses. Ohio State should clearly be ahead of Alabama in the CFP.

If you're talking about end of the year rankings then yes this is garbage but I think the play-off committe has said that they take injuries and suspensions into consideration have they not? Wouldn't the Hooker injury justify that CFP ranking?
