as one of the great all-time plays. Up there with Billy Cannon's Halloween td run and the Bluegrass Miracle.

One could argue its the first Heisman definining play of the season.

It was a Heisman moment.

I've been thinking the same thing. The longer it sits the more I love it especially on 3rd and 17

If he leads the tigers to championship and wins the Heisman I’ll put it up there with cannon. Until then pump the brakes

He may not win the Heisman, but if he can keep putting up numbers like this and if we can keep winning, then there's no doubt that at this point in the season he has the best record and the best "Heisman moment" of any of the Heisman hopefuls.

Absolutely. The outcome was still in question until that play. First of all, what a gusty call. Herbstreit was in the booth says LSU should run the ball to force Texas to use their last time out. Then the pass rush almost got to Burrow, but he sidestepped it, moved up in the pocket and hit Jefferson perfectly in stride coming across the field, and Jefferson did the rest.

Wow! What a play

The way he avoided the sack and protected the ball on that play was brilliant. Then having the wherewithal to find the open man on the cross. Definitely a Heisman worthy play.

That pass to Terrance Marshall in the 1st qtr was a thing of beauty. Dropped it in his bread basket perfectly!

I am not sure I've been more pumped during a play as I was watching that in the stadium. It was on Tracy Porter pick 6 level from me. One of the best moments of my life

It reminded me of this play. Both were clutch throws under pressure.

For sure. Woke the kids up screaming like a maniac and banging on the walls around my house.

if we end up winning it all, it'll be remembered like the Matt Mauck to Skyler Green pass in the Georgia game in 2003.

Exactly what I thought of after the play. Every year, you look for "Heisman moments" and this is definitely the type of play that fits this category.
