Say what you want about the Big Cat Drill, but it did give us the GOAT dancing video.

Good. That was a pointless drill anyway for players other than linemen and linebackers. It was a great team bonding drill tho. They will come up with something else.

Good. Former players thought it was idiotic and a waste of the players' time.
It was a Miles rah-rah trademark anyway, and had run its course.

GOOD!!! It was a HUGE waste of time .... two players active while everyone else watched! Total nonsense!

Well, I can't speak for everyone, but that Pitt vs Clemson game is doing the trick for me.

I'm surprised the board isn't melting down. After reading past threads of people who scrambled back here to report who they witnessed in the big cat drill I was convinced it was often the most significant moment in some people's lives ...the threads were TD's equivalent to seeing Justin Bieber at the Cortana mall.

2 players practicing while everyone else watches. Shouldn't take a genius to know it's stupid.

Great take something the players enjoy to blow off alittle steam before practice. "Waste of time" rantards completely MISS the point of the whole drill. Coach puts the O in S O FT

It's a fun exercise that builds camaraderie. But I guess some people think that being a team is stupid.

I'm willing there isn't a pro team in the league that does that stupid shite. I always thought it was funny when people got all worked up over that as well.

Technique, strength, and being mentally prepared through watching film, knowing tendencies and simply knowing where to be and when to be there are worth their weight in gold.

I kind of enjoyed the Big Cat Drill but it is what it is.

Good. It's was the stupidest f*cking thing on earth. In Miles' brain dead melon, of course, it was coaching ingenuity.

The Big Cat wasn't helping us throw the football better than a junior high team so peace out Big Cat.

I'm genuinely curious to see how many pre season injuries we have this year now that miles is gone.

Good. How is a practice where 98% of the team stands around any good?

the drill for fun/ aggressive purposes was fine. Fundamentally, it was absurd.

If that's the only thing they had that built camaraderie and they couldn't become a team without it then they had no business playing football.

Yes, it was pretty good the first year or two. But after that, it had no value.
