Lane bumping a tweet from 2021 seems… interesting

Hear me out. Have Tyrann as an analyst. Have him learn under Corey. Corey retires eventually. Tyrann continues DBU as one of its first graduates.

speaking of that, is it no longer a requirement for a coach to have a college degree?

He’s been the opposite of Fehoko. Hope he gets brought on.

It's not a bad idea. It won't hurt to have him on campus when recruits come, either. Who doesn't want to be recruited by the damn Honey Badger? The guy is an LSU legend and could obviously help with the New Orleans recruiting scene. Even if he isn't allowed to recruit on the road, that doesn't mean he can't talk to everyone else.

2021 tweet, insinuating something like that, oh yeah. He is coming

Football knowledge and potential recruiting advantage aside, Tyrann might be the best person on the planet to guide these young guys as they mature in college.
We all know the story, making bad decisions, having fame and getting kicked off the team. Never once did he blame anyone but himself, never said anything but positive things about LSU and completely turned his life around for the better. We all make mistakes, but rarely do we take accountability like Tyrann did and truly do a 180.

I know it's all a farce but coaches used to be considered faculty, and usually at a college that requires a master as a minimum

Considering he’d be an analyst, I’m sure Verge would make an exception.

Maybe he’ll enroll and be a student assistant? (Lol he has 2 years of eligibility and college players are paid now, so…)

I don't know why they even go through the facade of referring to these minor leaguers as students or student-athletes anymore, and why they even have to enroll in classes anymore for that matter
