Nah, these guys on here will get everything within 24 hours.

Save your smart arse for them.

I can't even post a pic.

Save your defensiveness for criticism of officials, too. I think they do a great job, but they're human, and can be affected as much as anyone else participating in sport.

I've known officials that have had to call coaches and apologize for missed calls. It happens. My only gripe concerning the SEC is that they could easily make more of an effort to not put some of these guys in uncomfortable positions. Like being an alumnus, or having a child on scholarship to a university that you are calling one of their games.

That's the same guy Miles was BSing with on the sideline later in the game. he was all smiles then. I wonder what was said..

Someone should ask Miles at his Wednesday Talk Show. Just make sure to include this guy's name.

Then the follow up can be what do you think of Stven Patrick's call on Wing?

Defensiveness for criticism? I said that Ware wasn't horse collared and that's a fact. How is that defensiveness?

Calls get missed, I don't think that's any secret.

Wing taunted and got a flag for it. BFD. Interestingly, Miles supported the call too.

Who has called a game of a school that they are an alumnus of? I'd be interested in seeing a list.

Just a thought...

But do you think that LSU's reputation (and documented history) through the first 5 games may have had something to do with the tight "leash" the refs seemed to be employing on LSU? All the "swagga" and trash-talking has been well documented and it is likely that the refs were told to clamp down in it in a game that has, at least based on recent history, been a little "chippy"?

I like that LSU plays with some arrogance and bravado, but they better dial it back for the next few games (esp. Bama). If the refs are looking for it, they will call it and we do not need to give them any excuse to do so.

Appeared to be on TV. Do you have a clip showing differently.

Hard to say that would constitute taunting in any sense of the word. It was a stupid call. Miles response is politically correct. Hopefully, it will earn him some brownie points come 11/05/11. Doubt it, but in this situation it's a nothing ventured nothing gained equation.

How do you figure it was a horse collar? I'm reasonably certain we both saw the same play. What exactly indicated to you that it was a horse collar tackle? Do you know the definition of a horse collar tackle?

Was Miles being politically correct when he chewed Wing's arse on the sideline while showing him the replay on the screen too?

Wing and this play has gotten more exposure in the media because it was first play with new rule. Douche is correct with the "letter of the rule" but he gave us much more credit nationally and back in good ole Aussie Land.

How can there be a culprit when the correct call was made?

You felt that Wing outstretching his arms for literally one second was "taunting", and something worthy of eliminating the touchdown?

this was the scene in the bama replay booth during the PP interception review, no wonder they screwed up the call...

If he hadn't looked back at the defender, probably not, but he did.

And he's fortunate he didn't get another flag for going into the crowd, and that one would have ended his afternoon.

Except it wasn't nearly one second. It was completely impossible to see from the stands, and just as impossible to see on replay until it's slowed down. And even then, you can see him fling his arms out and quickly bring them back in like he's worried about getting caught!

Somewhere Deion Sanders must be laughing his arse off about Wing being labeled a taunter!

So if was against FLA it would have been the righjt call????

I swear some of you fans are so terrible and wrapped up in the refs thats its really sad. I guess LSU shouldn't even show up on Nov 5th cause you guys make it look like LSU will get beat by the refs anyway.
