Curiel “strikes out” j/k, thanks ABS
Milam hustles to just beat the DP throw to keep season alive
With 2 outs, Simpson “strikes out” season over, j/k, thanks again ABS
Tying run on 1st
Fantastic AB by Peterson hitting foul ball after foul ball
Rain is pouring, a small part of you gets the feeling of “holy crap are they really about to do this again”…

This team was a tease. So many blown leads and failed comebacks. The season ended like it went most of the year.

Then he swung at a ball 4 that was 3 feet off the plate and it was over.

LSU baseball teams normally thrive in those scenarios. When the rain started falling I knew we were gonna win. But then I was quickly reminded that this is not a real LSU baseball team and has absolutely no mystique about it

I'm glad this season is over. The pitching staff this year was an abomination. With just a decent pitching performance this year, LSU would be in the post-season.

Once Simpson's ball 4 was confirmed by ABS, I was certain Pearson was about to hit a 3 run dinger to take the lead. Halfway through his AB, I had convinced myself the pen would not hold the lead and I needed to prepare for the inevitable.
