In October 2014, my beloved son was found with a narcotics OD and after 20 minutes of CPR and a dose of Narcan was lucky enough to survive intact. We were blessed to find St Christophers treatment center there in BR and My son has now transitioned into sober living. He loves BR.

He has found a remarkable recovery community there and is being sponsored/mentored by several LSU alums. To top things off, he has become a La resident and will finish his finance degree, and likely stay for his MBA, there at LSU.

This thread is no joke to me and my family, and I'm not sure this is the appropriate forum for such a thread. But I felt it important to tell you, the LSU nation, that some of you have helped save my son's life.

And though I still want my beloved Razorbacks to win when we play, our family will always be LSU fans as well.

Blessings to all of you who provide hope and courage to those who need it so badly to survive.

That's great Doc. Good to hear.

Would you mind giving us some more detail behind your St Christophers experience? Some of us have family that may be able to get help there. Just wondering.

I'm an STC alum myself. It changed my life. Best decision you ever made. I'm sure I will meet your son around one day. Glad to hear he is being successful.
