After the Kentucky victory, Angel was knocked to the ground storming the court for a fellow LSU team. Her reaction was “it was worth it”.
What was Duke’s Men’s basketball team reaction to their own player tripping and pushing a Wake Forest student storming the court? “We need to ban storming the court”.
Duke, there is a reason LSU wins at multiple sports and wins national titles where you only have mens basketball.
It is because our women are stronger than your only mens team will ever be.

I’m pretty sure Dashawn Womack knocked her down. You are not wrong. If a Mississippi state fan knocked her down storming the court after an LSU lost, I’m sure both her and Mulkey would’ve been livid.

Agreed. I hate the softness of the Duke reaction, but if the other team won and Angel was knocked over, she would not say it was worth it.

Correct, Should have worded it better. Short of just having teams walk off the court earlier, don’t think you can actually stop it from happening.

Why would fans of such an experienced and championship laden athletic program feel the need to storm the court or the field after wins?
