We came.
We whipped their asses.
We won the game.
We left.
End of story.

By refusing to let this go, it makes them look even more guilty. It's not like Orgeron has been all over the media saying over and over again how hot it was. Since Texas has made an "official" response by their AD, I'm a bit confused as to why Woodward hasn't said something to put this issue to rest.

How would they like it if Woodward had made an official rebuttal to Herman's implied claims that our players were faking cramps?

Host Chad Hasting with 104.9 in Austin talked about this yesterday.

Apparently he has contacts within our program. People from football ops talked to their counterparts at La Tech and reported the findings to Ed O. Just because Skip Holtz wasn’t involved in the conversation doesn’t mean it didn’t take place. Skip is just saying don’t drag me into this.

I agree. But didn't O say he spoke with L.T. "Officials". Maybe he didn't speak directly to Holtz or the AD?

The more incriminating piece IMO is that Holtz specifically says he didn’t notice anything out of the ordinary. He didn’t have to make a statement if he was just trying to stay out of it.

As for the AD, I need to go back and look at how he worded his comment.

Except Skip also denied that there was an issue with the temperature in the locker room.

This is pretty much where I'm at. This is all very silly, but why is Texas keeping the story alive. Coach O made a comment on Monday, and didn't even blame anything on the locker room, saying the long drive was more impactful. Texas had a press release within hours and now has done an investigation. LSU has rightfully said nothing and moved on.

I totally get why La Tech won't confirm anything, as they essentially are saying, "leave us out of this," which I support. They want to schedule games in the future, and they don't need any of this.

But these continued statements make me feel like they actually ARE hiding something, when before I was just like, "well, it was 100 degrees, I'm sure it was hot in a room with 85 large, sweaty humans."

But it is telling their temperature measurements were from before and after the game, and not halftime, when O complained of a hot locker room.

All about the benjamins.

Tech got paid and wants to get paid again, way better for them to say nothing.

Because social media ran with it, so they feel obligated to defend their integrity.

They didn’t say “nothing” — they said they “didn’t notice anything out of the ordinary” (presumably referring to the condition of visiting locker rooms because they don’t regularly play @ UTx either)

I'm not at all. This is petty nonsense and nothing more on our side needs to be said about it. TBH, nothing should have been said in the first place.

UT is probably the ultimate representation of the self-centered trophy wife—loyal to the Big 12 only as long as there is money in the account for fur coats (or cutting edge athletic facilities).

UT is an absolutely faithless, spoiled, and self-indulgent whore of a school.

So if we brought our own cooling units/ maybe that lowered the temperature. I’m sure it’s easily provable that we brought them. Why do so if there wasn’t a good reason to think they were needed?

“AUSTIN, Texas — The temperature in LSU's locker room when the Tigers arrived at Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium

Yea, arrived.

and the temperature after the game was 74 degrees

Temp does not go up when the sun goes down, it goes down. Meaning they turned the AC off after the game started so temp was way up by halftime and after half they turned the AC back on. If the AC had been on the entire time it should not have been 7 degrees warmer after the sun went down.

according to an internal report conducted by the Texas athletic department “

This just proves how stupid these idiots are.

Lmao at “internal investigation.

Here’s the thing, Coach O nor the football team is making a big deal about this. None of them ever did. The ONLY reason he mentioned anything about it is because he was asked a direct question by a member of the media in regards to a rumor. He answered it, then stated he didn’t think it was a problem. Fast forward, it’s the media and UT making a big deal out if this.
