You fake the throw to 1st, then you have the runner hung up between 3rd and home.

The error was scored on Morgan, not Thompson on that play.
This inning all goes back to Cooper being up 0-2 on the first batter then hitting him with a 1-2 count.

It's a little odd that we don't know who is on our roster. LSUsports.net has 43 players listed. I know Bollman and Simon are out. I would assume Priester is the other guy out. That leaves Hasty on the roster. Perhaps he is injured?

It’s the third out and Thompson had a chance to make it at first. He did the right thing. Need a better throw. Morgan had time. He airmailed it. Never set his feet and sidearm. It was so ugly.

I’ve noticed Morgan makes submarine type throws. Noticed in earlier in the season on a play similar when he threw to the plate.
