That’s not how it works. If it’s not a defensive down grade you out the dude in now and let him get warm some. CJJ Is a huge proponent of the lefty right Vice versa matchups on offense; he’s done this all year.

Agree with this, too. Bianco has still looked gimpy.

shite. Floyd couldn’t get out of the 3rd? If it’s still close, I’m thinking we may see Reyz or Fontenot throw the 7th, 8th, 9th.

There may be a righty back pitching when the spot comes back up. You’re overthinking it. It was all defensive. Not because of the pitcher.

So you say they don’t care about singles, so why do they implement the shifts?

Because they can steal outs.

Who are you shifting for primarily? Left handed power hitters right? Right.

How many fast left handed power hitters can you think of that are actually threats on the base path? Not many right?

You would love to strand Anthony Rizzo on first base with a bunt. He doesn’t hurt you there at all. So you’re going to keep playing the percentages and shifting him because he can’t bunt forever.

1) he’s a power hitter. He’s not worth a shite at it. And

2) he’s paid to hit the long ball. He’s gotta swing the bat to do that. You can’t bunt a homerun.

If you can’t understand that then buy a library card and rent a book im done with this conversation. I’m trying to watch a ball game.

That first pitch wasn’t close to being a strike, Cheer.

Berry struggles more with the throw to first when he has to move to his left.

Jobert has yet to show up against decent pitching. Not saying he can’t but he hasn’t yet.

If that happens you just make another switch or you ride w/ Bianco. The depth of this team is crazy and we have talent out the arse on the bench. You find ways to work it in, and find someone that’s going to step up
Pearson is still a frosh
