You sort of have to have a replacement in mind if you're going to say he's not a starter. If you can't name someone to replace him, maybe he should be a starter.

It means I don't know enough about what's going on at the program behind the scenes to know if there is somebody better but I would imagine that the coaches would know but maybe they're just trying to bang square peg into a round hole.
This is the same staff that didn't think Chris Reid was good enough even though he was in the top three, or close to it, in OBP in the conference every single year he was at LSU.

That's ridiculous logic.
You can declare that somebody's playing outside of their role without having a list of other people to replace him by. He doesn't have the makeup of a starter. I don't know who to replace him with. That wasn't my point. My point was simply, he's playing outside of his natural role
