Our hitters have zero plate discipline and can not adjust worth a frick. It’s the epitome of Maineris last 3 years here.

I’ve been saying the whole game that a good slider is the most difficult pitch to pick up.
I merely said that you’d hope that guys like Cabrera and Garza could see it by now. Which is what you want from veterans. I’m not even asking for them to hit it. I just want them to recognize and lay off the one in the dirt.

Guys like Trout and Judge can't recognize that. The kid is dealing. (I'm not saying they couldnt hit this kid. Just saying they couldnt recognize an elite level slider either)
Henry isn't doing half as bad as this thread makes it seem either. Take away that one 10+ pitch at bat and everything about his outing is pretty acceptable.
