Henry needs to utilize the defense and let Gio earn his spot in the lineup bc his approach at the plate is hot garbage.

The difference in this game is they are working the hell out of Henry and we're having 3 pitch at bats

I can’t believe Gio couldn’t get the bat off his shoulder on that 0-2 pitch. At least Mathis hit a ball that’s gone anywhere else we play.

Biggest adjustment Texas made is obvious at the plate. Every single hitter is calling time to throw Henry off cadence. Of course LsU hitters haven’t adjusted and are letting 13 settle in.

It’s because he’s a lefty and if he lays down a bunt to move Mathis over, he isn’t an auto out. Of course that’s assuming Mathis gets himself on.
