shite though Dups might be telling Watson to move out to left field right now. Wish he just had a better arm

But the point is these games arent as much about winning right now as they are about getting better and finding your best lineup

Interesting that the Head Baseball Coach said that these games make a difference in hosting Regionals and Super Regionals on today’s radio pregame show.
But what does he know, right?

Watson played shortstop in high school before converting to the outfield. I wonder if he could be an option at 3rd.

With all that bat speed, why is he hitting below .050?

IMO
He’s let it get to him & he’s trying too hard
He has had some good hits, just right at someone
Sitting him would make it worse, he just needs to catch a break

We're hitting it to them, they're finding gaps.

No one said they don't matter. But I think we can all agree LSU's chances are greatly improved if Slaughter reaches his potential. So let him have the reps now while people are hurt and it's non conference

What about Caleb Gilbert? He was bad in both of his starts. Zach Hess is the only starting pitcher that redeemed himself from the Notre Dame series.

Fair point, but Gilbert has looked very good in the past like Hess. Not sure I have ever seen anything good from Peterson.
