when your QBs are JJ and Lee for 3 years you might as well come back for the 4th

Lee threw the ball my friend, whether he was good at it or not, he threw the damn ball and gave it to the players we needed to give the ball to. With Jefferson every playmaker we ever recruited was irrelevant.

Just because Mettenberger is a pocket QB how do we know Les is going to try and throw the ball? He is as hard headed as they come, we have seen this over and over and over and over and over.

He may have no faith in the staff as opposed to the QB situation.

I agree with that.

I also don't understand why everyone 'assumes' any of the WR's get more thrown their way next year. What makes them so sure this offense changes any even with a better QB?

Mr. Shepard, its ur fault u got suspended. It sucks but that is life. You did drop 4off balls and is prob a reason other guys were getting more opportunities than you. I dont blame you for going to the NFL, but dont act like this isnt ur fault. Do you honestly think ur a better wr than randle or obj? Your def not as tuff as landry and he accepted his place on special teams.

That offense from the MNCCG is Miles preferred offense.

It was here with Crowton, it is here after Crowton left. Shep knew what was coming, and so do the others leaving.

I wish them the best.

Really? Maybe we could hire your boy Crowton back. I mean Maryland fired him after his first season as their OC.

Shouldn't Shep bear some responsibility for not beating out Odell?
This...and there is more talent coming up. Shep sees writing; it's just not the writing rantards are going on about.

Shep should stay but can't blame him for leaving. I still can't believe he "wanted" to convert to WR.

Guys, don't forger the NFL minimum is (I believe) $350,000. Hell, I'd ride the pine for that money. And that's for a kid that's 21 years old, or however old Shep is. Not bad money.

If shep is reading this thread, I hope he understands that mett can actually throw the ball and is a top flight sec caliber qb, unlike what he became accustomed to with Jefferson.

Or the offensive coaching?

This. It's not like Toliver would have a better Pro career if he did leave his junior year..

do you think any receiver would want to play under that offense we saw in the SECCG and the MNC?

really?

BTW, I never liked Crowton, so stop with your stupid strawman arguments...

Who the hell are you to judge what a player does with his career/life?

We have no idea of what is really going on, but clearly RS is not confident about the offense next year either.

hey dumbass, i'm not judging what he wants to do with his life. I'm judging how he's acting. (tweeting about his lack of catches, how many balls he caught/dropped.)

sorry you couldn't get that.

i love the kid, just think he's acting like a 2 year old right now.

Shep, if you're reading this, don't let these knuckleheads get to you. You've been a great Tiger. You were all LSU and you recruited hard for us. Even when it was clear they wouldn't let you play QB, you stuck it out and switched positions, but it was clear they didn't know how to use you.

Here's hoping you stay one more year, but best of luck if you decide to declare.
