TT is not happy with HIS PLAY ! HIS PLAY ! LISTEN, READ ! he is NOT saying he is unhappy with the team or how many balls he is getting.

That's what I read too. On the radio yesterday they were saying that he's frustrated because he's getting double teamed more this year.

This is what happens when you have great talent all over the field at the skill positions. Everyone wants the ball, and with the way our offense is you have to take advantage of the opportunities that come your way.

With that being said I did not get any of that out of the Reveille article. I actually thought it was awesome how he said he is now taking great pride in being a blocker. Some of you are blowing this way out of proportion. But anyways carry on.

These kids are trying to get to the NFL and we don't appear to be helping them right now.

#1. These kids better be trying to win games at LSU right now.

#2. Just ask Buster Davis, Bowe, Doucet, Lefell, and even Byrd how LSU helped them. They were all drafted by the NFL weren't they?

dead fish still believes the 2007 offense was jimbo's. the only play crowton brought was the pistol. yet, he more likely than not was one that wanted jimbo gone in 2006 because all he ran was bubble screens. this is the mentality we are dealing with.

jimbo and saban were coaching the team from the state of florida.

You are not blowin stuff out of proportion when you have people on here sayin he runs lazy routes, c'mon.

and like I said I've never seen LSU even when they had Lafell throw to the corner and let the bigger receiver out jump the corner! but whatever!

As a former coach of Terrance in high school, I completly understand why he feels unproductive. I was very fortunate to watch this kid totally dominate any secondary on Friday's. Now on Saturdays, I have to watch him run block all game. You can't blame a very competitive kid for being frustrated. I get a headache everytime a watch such a talented lsu team not play to thier TRUE potential.

Now, you want to twist the words of TT to bash on Crowton. You link was garbage. Link your "quote" or GTFO. Linking some random home page is not linking a quote.

Go back and read my first posts again if you are too stupid to figure out where I heard the reporter asking Miles about what TT said and then you can click on the other link I also other supplied. GTFO of my thread if you are too stupid and mentally incompetent to comprehend English!

no

d byrd could run like 2 routes, and only 1 well (the fly route)

d byrd quit on the team in 2008 also

he fell b/c he didn't work on being a WR or teammate

I won't deny he quit on the team after JL was a major disaster, but nevertheless there were numerous projections going into the season projecting D Byrd to be a first round draft pick.

then how do you explain lafel? three star guy who developed into a 2nd round pick?

Lafell may have been a 3 star coming from high school, but in college he had late first round or second round talent. However, due to LSU's mediocre offensive production last year, he dropped into the third round. Anyway, you were almost right. Keep trying, don't give up.

TT's never been a good route or deep threat guy. He's ridiculous with the ball in his hands. Never understood why we don't give him more opportunities with the ball in his hands. Those reverses in 07 were sick. Quick slants vs Washington, quick hitch back shoulder passes. I could go on and on.

I don't know, D Byrd went from a 1st round draft pick going into his final season

You are imagining this.

Just read the article. Kinda sad.

I have sympathy for a talented player like Toliver being in a system where his talents can't be effectively utilized. However, it's good to see him focusing on having a good senior season, even if that means run blocking.

Some say he's lazy and takes off routes. That may be true. But I wouldn't hold it against him because of it. Imagine having a quarterback that can't usually find you when you are open and can't make an accurate throw even if they see you when you are open.
