Penn State beat the brakes off of Auburn which for some reason nobody talks about here. This will be a test of how close we really are to competing and how big the talent gap really is.

Tell me you don’t know shite about football without telling me…

Using comparative analysis in a sport that week to week is glaringly different is for amateurs.

maybe, maybe not...but MSST might be better than Pitt who is TN's best win where they needed OT. Pitt just lost to GT.

If LSU plays like they did vs Auburn they wont win (probably any more games), but I bet they play better.

So you’re saying you learn nothing from watching other games. That’s an idiotic take. There is always some knowledge learned from watching two teams play.

I’m not saying that at all. I’m just not saying because Penn State beat the crap out of auburn that it means any more than LSUs win Saturday.

Nor does it have any effect on Tennessee. If LSU plays ball like that did against MsU they can win many games. If they play like they did at Auburn not so much.

Bama skulldrug Ole Miss last year. Ole Miss skulldrug LSU last year. LSU was one overthrow away from beating Bama in Tuscaloosa. shite changes every week and teams match up differently.

Obligatory:

The transitive property does not apply to college football.

Repeat until it sticks

Mizzou should have beaten Auburn. Mizzou played UGA a tough game. Does that mean UGA and Auburn will be close. Does that mean LSU is equal to UGA?

Watch the Tennessee v. Pittsburgh game. Pitt was forced to use their 2nd string QB who was gimpy in the 2nd half. Not saying Pitt is a world beater, but was a play a way from tying and going into a 2nd overtime. Also, whenever Tennessee needed a play they went to Cedric Tillman. None of Pitt's DB's could match up with him. Tillman is likely out for several weeks. LSU wins this game.

LSU beat the brakes off Auburn once they found out Sevyn thankfully didn’t break his neck.

LSU is better than Tulane, Alabama is better than Millsaps JV, and The Beat Goes On(take your choice Sonny and Cher or The Whispers).

Agree with LSUsetheforce here. Especially considering the rivalry between these 2. I think PSU is a strong team if Clifford doesn't self destruct and he plays within himself.

Tenn will be interesting. Considering the terrible offense performance against Aubrun, I'm not optimistic at all. Daniels was terrible and the play calling isn't helping him or the OL out.

Well it is really all a out matchups. Penn state matched well against auburn with a good qb. We did not. We match up better against tenner and win

This they is better than that one blah blah blah. What it comes down to is your defense going to stop our offense from scoring 40 and can your offense score to keep up that is the question

LSU played like poop against Auburn, and there is no denying it. I know some people want to go on and on about "road game in the SEC", but that's a bad team and we made them look good.

But Mississippi State is way better than Auburn, and LSU dominated them in the second half. Yes, it was at home, but if that LSU team had showed up at Auburn, it would have been far different. They were flat footed and disinterested. That's got nothing to do with being on the road; it's just a simple case of looking past an opponent. I expect a much different story this weekend.

I don’t think there’s a team out there that we can’t beat, but the same could be said for most of the SEC.

Tenn plays on both poles. Elite Offense and piss poor defense. 95th in total defense. they've given up 30 ppg vs P5 opponents. Tho, their pass defense is their weakness. Run D is decent.
