It just makes sense at this point. Especially with Cowan only throwing one inning last night. I’d be very shocked if he starts Cooper Williams tomorrow if they lose tonight.

CJJ is playing this perfectly. Bullpen is keeping us in this and if we don’t come back he still has Evans and Cowan for tomorrow.

Hopefully shore can have a roll to at least come out of the pen and throw strikes with insane heat since we will not have to save up to go 2 and 3 times through. That can work a lot to just help us out over him starting.

They’re 4-19 w RISP this weekend. It’s really not. Their situational hitting has been terrible for a month now. Basically since their no hitter against A&M they’ve had the same issues we have on offense. They’ve managed one run having the bases loaded twice in this game alone
