Honestly we have put some pretty good barrels on it tonight, just right at guys. Surely one will fall for us in the box tonight

We’re not at Knoxville, so it’s 0-1.

Jones with that big two out base hit with no runners on base.
This is why everyone bitching about “clutch”
Hitting is a fricking idiot. There is demonstrably no such thing. You can either hit or you can’t. If you can hit, sometimes guys will be on base, sometimes they won’t.
Baseball is so analytical because at the end of the day it’s all just numbers over time. Anytime I see someone talking about clutch hitting I know they’re just an emotional casual fan that knows nothing.
The 2023 team was ridiculed for their “clutch” hitting mid-late season and then things returned to the median and all was right in the world in the postseason.

LSU would've put the same number on the scoreboard if he had.

LSU is being pretty diverse tonight for a change.
6 strikeouts
6 ground outs
6 fly outs
That explains a lot.

Lmao some of y’all are hilarious. “We would’ve won if we didn’t have to play at home”

With the way our offense has been playing as of late, I'm not even sure I'd use Cowan or Evans at this point. A 1 run lead feels like 5 right now.
