I hear they are at the AC Hotel by Marriott Tampa airport. Its right off Dale Mabry. They wanted to be close to Mons Venus. They are only a few blocks away...

Staring motel. The team is really itching to get after them. There’s a burning desire to play Wisconsin.

Pretty sure it is the JW Marriott next to the hockey arena ( across from Harbour Island).
I went there last night and saw all sorts of signs in there saying welcome LSU. It certainly looked like a team hotel to me. That area (Channelside District of Tampa) is really nice.

My cousin’s s-i-l is friends with a woman who has a twin sister who used to work in the LSU Athletic Department.
She heard this a a Kwanzaa party last week with some of her former coworkers.

Is the Staring motel still open? I thought that place closed years ago. I always wondered why a motel was built in that location. I know the place is old but I don't remember that area ever needing a motel. That place was built before the interstate passed near that area. I'm 73 and I never saw a need for a motel in that area before the development of that area. BTW, why do people want to know where the team is staying? I just go to the game and leave when the game is over. I've been to LSU games in Bama and I never thought about where the team was staying. How is knowing where the team is staying add to the atmosphere of the game? I couldn't care less where the team is staying because how does knowing where the team is staying add to the game experience? Believe me when I left many games in Bama I never once thought about where the team is staying but many LSU fans that were leaving after the game wanted to know where the team was because they were pissed off when LSU lost.
