This is where WW not playing college basketball, and being a head coach comes into conflict

That's becoming a broken record. This is a physical, sometimes out of control team that fouls alot. shite happens

It is impossible to consistently beat teams when you get out free throw shot by 10+ a game guy

Lmao Pearl didn’t play ball past junior high. Roy Williams was a walk-on on UNCs freshman team then quit. Mick Cronin didn’t play past his junior year of high school. Whether or not Wade played has nothing to do with anything.

Well maybe Wade should get on their arse for stupid fouls. frick he shook Pinsons hand for getting his 4th foul 40ft from the basket with 8 min left and that kind of shot happens every game…teach them to not reach and allow the refs to blow the whistle. frick he has had all season to adjust and hasn’t

Bad fouls have been a pretty consistent problem. Eason had a couple cheap ones far from the basket, reaching in, that led to him fouling out later.

All in all, they were more disciplined tonight, until about 19 minutes to go. Reverted to bad habits a bit.
But it was the best game they have played in weeks. Played hard, rebounded, good game plan, didn’t get upset and cry to the refs too much.

Wish they hasn’t blown it at the end; just a series of stupid fouls, tough calls and a poor decision by Pinson in the final position.

I agree we played hard but damn play under control when in foul trouble.

There’s no question that they get bad calls every game, but so do other teams. However, they do foul a lot, and they are stupid fouls. Eason has three fouls and takes a swipe at a player who just rebounded an LSU miss. That’s just stupid, and you can’t fix stupid!

ELLSSU, it’s high enough not to foul with 8 seconds to go, the lead, and forty feet from the basket. In short, it’s higher than yours!

I watch 6-9 whole MBB games a week and have since November-December. The best teams in the country often play like crap and seem to make series of fundamental errors even when they are coached at Duke, Villanova, UCLA, Mich State, Baylor, or Kansas. That is certainly true of all SEC teams.

The biggest difference between this LSU team and the top 15 teams this year is that we have zero outside shooting ability.

Couldn't have said it better myself. If you watch any other team in ncaa objectively you would find the same issues of offensive frustration. Hell we led the ncaa if in offensive efficiency last year and I was frustrated all year. It's what basketball is now. Spacing and isolation

Spot on in your assessment. The best they’ve played in awhile and they still could have played better. It is sad how little situational awareness this team has, it was the difference in the outcome. Pinson needed to go at the rim and force the defender to stop him.
