I really believe Chase will be starting after 3 games into the season. He was a 5 star so that would bump us up on that list

Our defense is salty. And just remember that Battle is going to share time with Monroe and/or Stevens so that "4.0" is really a 4.09 or 4.18. Right in line with Bama.
Where we struggle a bit is at RB and o-line. This is what separates us from Bama and Georgia. And what has everyone concerned.
But for the negative nancies on here, this chart makes clear that IF Burrow is a good QB, we can win 10 games.

This, along with Curry pretty much splitting carries with CEH would boost the RB ranking as well. Which i think happens by midseason, IMHO

The class isn’t making a lot of our starters.
If we had to field a team from that class we wouldn’t be able to field a secondary, and we would be starting 3 stars on the DL.
And it definitely had some great players in it, but he middles and bottom were weak.

Exactly, REAL supporters know that the talent O is bringing in makes the team a contender for championships. FAKE supporters make up excuses and say that they are "inexperienced".

While I can agree with you that Coach O is as good a motivator as any coach in the country, He isn't any where near on the level of Saban as a recruiter (nor is anyone else) as is born out by these ratings. NO one comes close to the talent level Saban has amassed at Bama though Smart is working on it. Not O's fault though as no one else is either. Saban is generally regarded as the greatest college football recruiter in history.
I am glad to see you optimism though as you always seemed to come off as a bit of a prick and anti LSU O hater.

what do you mean? Not an excuse but we don't have a lot of experience really on either side of the ball. I haven't seen FAKE or real supporters say that we returned a lot of experience. All you have to do is look at the depth chart to see that.
