Was a very fun player to watch in purple and gold. Im not a hoops fan but i watched him and the general. It was electric.

16.3 a year is actually really good value for him in today's NBA.

I’m assuming you haven't heard of this concept called market inflation?
Brock Purdy's average annual salary ($53M) is more than Dan Marino earned in his entire 17 year career ($~51M). In fact, Purdy's contract guarantees him DOUBLE ($100M) that of Marino's career earnings. And Marino made a hell of a lot more than guys like Bradshaw, Unitas, Staubach, etc. Malik Willis just signed a $67M contract. Does that make the NFL a cesspool too?
This isn't some indictment on the leagues. It's simple economics

I remember when one of the self proclaimed experts on this board said Tari was over rated.
The General didn't make many mistakes in evaluating talent.

He deserves it. Tari is a versatile 6th man / sometimes starter who busts his arse every time he's on the court. Thrilled he found a home with the Rockets.
