Tampa radio station reports their speculation on Fl vs LSU

Has been quiet about the game until the top of the hour break 30 min ago. They are hearing the possibility of LSU playing South Alabama on 10/29, followed by LSU vs Florida on 11/19. Maybe Florida wants this and are floating it to make LSU look like the bad guy for turning it down. I'm still mad they didn't play yesterday or today for that matter. Sorry if already discussed.

Seems the USA AD would have been contacted by now...but he said on Moscona he hasn't been contacted at all.

Or we could make Arkansas move up their game with us to 10/29 and play UF when we are supposed to play Arkansas.

So we play aTm on thursday after playing UFU Saturday, then play USA on saturday...that would be 3 games in 8 days...i don't even think Bama could do that...and you can bet your house that the SEC wouldn't let them do it even if bama wanted to...

i"'m certainly not Coach Ogeron and have no idea what he would want but from a fan's perspective, I have no problem with playing arky on the 29th and then playing Bama on the next Saturday. Hate playing Arky after Bama . Don't know if Bielema would go for it though.

I know it's been said over and over, but Florida should forfeit the game. I didn't really pay attention when all the details were going on Thursday through Saturday. We were preparing for the worst. But by all reports, the bad weather would be out by Saturday at the latest. The game should have been played Sunday or today. Hell if the storm did loop back, then cancel it outright.

This scenario would work and nobody loses a game from their schedule except Presbyterian, but that's Florida's problem deservingly. I'd like to know if they've at least visited this option. Our bye week before Bama doesn't help anyway.

Honestly I'd rather move USA to the bye and the A&M game back to Saturday and play at UF on 11/19. I don't want to play Arkansas before Bama. We need to be fresh, focused and ready for Bama, not playing in a slugfest against a team that gives us 200% every year. But Alleva said he guarantees a home game on 11/19 so I dunno.

The bye before Bama didn't help when Miles was the coach. Now that it appears the staff is preparing the team in a different way the bye could be a big deal. Orgeron knows he likely needs to best Bama to have a real shot at keeping the job and I hope he and the team have the same amount of time Bama has to focus on game prep.

The question, however, stands: why should LSU, SEC schools that have zilch to do with this, and at least two nonconference schools shake up their schedules because Jeremy Foley is a babyback bitch?
