Jesus called out sin, Paul judged when he wrote most of the N.T., Apostles Peter & John judged when they called out sin and so did James. It’s called non-hypocritical righteous judgement.

But there isn't a God as described by Peter. So why reference the Bible?

Peter and his brother in Christ, Judas, were around Jesus daily. Saw everything Jesus allegedly did. Knowing that eternal life was the reward. Peter denied him. Judas betrayed him.

This is correct... There are two paths to heaven; law or grace. This rich young ruler chose law and Jesus called him out on it. No one gets to heaven by keeping the law because it's impossible. I don't know Paxton or Talarico's heart but we can judge their actions and words to determine if it aligns with scripture. God will judge them one day as to whether they belong to him or not, same as us.

Why would there be a moment of weakness when Peter had a first-hand account of Jesus? I'd welcome death if Jesus was the Son of God, knowing what was promised. It isn't believe at that point, its fact.
Peter had facts that Jesus was allegedly divine. Still denied him. You don't have moments of weakness with fact. You do with faith. Seeing all Jesus was, Peter still had doubts. So did Thomas. So did Judas.
