I’ll be taking my son to our first LSU baseball game tonight. Anything suggestions on things to do at the park before the game starts?

Let him shotgun his first bud light on the train tracks before going in

Depending on how old your kid is, keep your expectations low in terms of how long you actually stay, be prepared to catch the rest of the game on the radio on the way home.
Could very easily only be a few innings before you have to leave for whatever reason. Esp if he's really young.

Sorry, I should have provided his age. He’s 9.

Definitely check out the museum on the 3rd base side before the game. Lots of great history in there.

I guess everything depends on age. There is the Wally Pontiff LSU HOF and the playgrounds near the foul poles.
Other than that, it's a college baseball park, prepare to watch the Tigers.
Bring plenty of cash or CC's, concessions are the only other thing for kids to do.

Kids always get autographs along the right side of the field if he is into that. I took my 9 yo grandson to the Hall of Fame on his first game a few years ago and he enjoyed it.

Congrats. Make this first game about him and what his interested in and hopefully get an autograph and he’ll cherish the memories.

Walk him over to the intimidator billboard and explain what a National Championship is since we've not won one since he's been born

My boys always got them before the game. Walk them down by the dugout with a ball and a pen. The players are always taking care of the kids with autographs.

Show up an hour or more early. Get autographs and watch BP.
