True

Especially if our biggest contributors weren’t injured

That’s not correct

This is a different era in college football, there’s a lot more parity now

Also played better against TAMU who would beat state

You really just made this argument? Those teams have beat no one, and neither of those teams are better than State with a healthy Kamario Taylor and Fluff Bothwell.

Keep living the dream though; reality will come soon enough.

Yeah, I'm not mussed by that. You can downplay losing one of the most talented QBs in the country for two games (well seriously hobbled in one) all you want, but it's a big deal. You, like many LSU fans, can't see the forest for the trees, so I'll play along for you.

Y'all are doing great. You just beat a top 20 team handily, so everything is still in front of you. If not for some unfortunate losses to good teams you were clearly better than, you'd be a front runner. The world was just against you, per usual. If it was me, y'all'd be no. 12 in the polls. The disrespect is real.

Auburn is going to come out flat after a big win in Athens. Nothing to worry about there. Y'all got this.

True- there are no more elite teams and the homogenous style minimizes any matchup issue to almost non existence. Our team is talented enough to play well and beat anybody. No matter the opponent, if we execute at a higher rate we’ll win the game unless Baker blows it.

False, only because I’ve yet to see us play like a well-oiled machine. That means executing in every phase of the game. The potential is there, but it hasn’t happened yet, partly because of the insane number of injuries we’ve had to impact players. There always seems to be a piece of the puzzle missing. Lately the special teams play, particularly punting, have been terrible.

If a team is “on”, doesn’t that mean they’re playing well and winning?

Couldn’t you say that any team that’s “on” can beat any team that’s not “on”.

Can you still be “on” and lose to a team that’s “off”? If the team that’s “off” wins, they’d have to be “on” at some point. Likewise, the team that was “on” would have to be “off” for at least one play.

If a team thats’s “on” can still lose, and it requires at least one “off” play to do so, are they still considered a team that’s “on”? What percentage of “off” plays are required before the team is no longer “on”?

In 4 quarters, if you lose at the at the end, you’re off, no matter what.
0000L = off
0001L = off
0010L = off
0011L = off
0100L = off
0101L = off
0111L = off
1000L = off
1001L = off
1010L = off
1011L = off
1100L = off
1101L = off
1110L = off
1111L = not possible

If you win, and you’re “on” at the end, you’re “on”, no matter how bad you were in the previous quarters. But if you win while being “off” in the end, you’re not “on”.
0000W = not possible
0001W = on
0010W = off
0011W = on
0100W = off
0101W = on
0111W = on
1000W = off
1001W = on
1010W = off
1011W = on
1100W = off
1101W = on
1110W = off
1111W = on

True. Weeks’ injury last year was a large part of why the season was wrecked.
But most teams will have depth issues in this era. Like kiffin said earlier. You have a first string and a 3rd string. 2nd string already transferred out.

False, our O-line is thin and not very good.

Any decent front 7 would cause them fits even at their best.
